Energy diagnosis

Energy diagnosis (or energy audit) is a procedure that is used to be aware of the energy consumption profile of an industrial plant by quantifying the opportunities for saving energy based on cost/benefit analysis.

Each energy diagnosis is carefully performed by examining consumption in every building, industrial activity or plant which is measured using innovative, modern instruments. The resulting analysis is performed on the entire machine life cycle in order to take into account savings that can be made in the long term.

Feasibility studies and technical analysis are carried out in order to select the most advantageous solutions regarding energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

According to the European Directive 2012/27/EU, implemented by Legislative Decree no. 102 of 4 July 2014, energy audits are now compulsory for all energy-intensive or large companies and must be carried out every four years.
